Tell us about the work you do.
During the day, I work as the senior manager of social media. On the side, I love to paint and draw. I sell my work online and out of my studio when I am releasing a collection!
When did you make the move to LA?
I moved to LA just over five years ago. I lived in New York for a few years after graduating college, and I would try to visit LA every month and pretend that I never had to go back to NY. I love the change of pace in LA, it has inspired a different type of art.
What do you look for in a studio space?
Natural light and wood accents! I finally finished setting up my studio a couple months ago and when I initially rented this space, I fell in love with the layout and the light. It’s inspiring both in the daytime and at night.
A book you’re currently reading?
Well, I have quite a few of unfinished books (haha), but I love both fiction and non-fiction depending on the mood I’m in. Currently I’m reading Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami, it’s wild! I love his writing style. It’s set in reality, yet the way he includes mystical elements makes you feel like your transported to a whole other dimension.
